Section 1: What information we collect and why we collect it

When you purchase something from our store, we collect the personal information you provide such as your name, billing/shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment details. We use this to process your order, deliver your items, and provide customer support.

When you browse our store, we automatically receive certain information about your device, such as your IP address, browser type, and operating system. We use this to help improve our website, detect fraud, and tailor your shopping experience.

With your consent, we may also use your contact details for email or text marketing — such as product updates, offers, and brand news. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 2).

Section 2: Consent

How do we get your consent?
When you provide personal information for a transaction (e.g. placing an order, verifying payment, arranging a delivery or return), we take this as consent to collect and use it for that specific purpose.

If we ask for your information for a secondary purpose (e.g. marketing), we will ask you directly for your express consent or give you the option to decline.

How do I withdraw my consent?
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing support@adseapparel.com or by using the unsubscribe link in our emails/SMS. Withdrawing consent will not affect processing required to fulfil an order, comply with legal obligations, or protect our business.

Section 3: Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if required by law, to comply with a legal obligation, or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Section 4: Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s secure servers, databases and the general Shopify application.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data securely under PCI-DSS standards. Payment information is encrypted and retained only as long as necessary to complete your transaction.

For more details, please see Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

Section 5: Third-party services

We use third-party providers to help us run our business, such as:

  • Payment processors (for secure transactions).

  • Logistics & fulfilment partners (including our UK warehouse) to deliver your orders.

  • Email and marketing platforms (e.g. Klaviyo) to send brand updates and offers.

  • Advertising platforms (e.g. Meta, TikTok, Google) to show you relevant content.

These providers will only use your information as necessary to perform their services. Some may store or process your data outside your country of residence. When this happens, we take steps to ensure your data remains protected under applicable laws (see Section 7).

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party service, their own privacy policy will apply.

Section 6: Security

We follow industry best practices to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Although no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, we use SSL encryption and take commercially reasonable precautions.

Section 7: International transfers

Because ADSE is an Australian company that stores goods in the United Kingdom and uses providers worldwide (including Shopify’s servers in Canada/US), your data may be transferred across borders.

Where required (e.g. under GDPR), we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure your data remains protected.

Section 8: Data retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including legal, accounting and reporting requirements. For example, order information is typically kept for at least 7 years to meet tax obligations.

Section 9: Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy law, including:

  • Access – to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Correction – to ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Erasure – to request deletion of your data, where legally possible.

  • Restriction – to limit how we use your data in certain cases.

  • Data portability – to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.

  • Objection – to object to processing, such as marketing.

  • Withdrawal of consent – to opt out of marketing or revoke prior consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@adseapparel.com. We will respond within the time required under applicable law.
